Maui

We felt super lucky that the State of Hawaii re-opened on Oct. 15, after being shut for 7 months due to Covid!  We never had to re-arrange this trip once, plus we got the bonus that our first week there corresponded with one of Rob's weeks off.

Above is a beautiful rainbow, which we saw every day for 2 weeks due to greater moisture than we see typically in the summer season.

Next, Rob really wanted to snorkel and see some pretty colored fish & sea turtles:

Then we decided to hike to a waterfall:

We decided to reward ourselves with the best ice cream possible (Island Cream Co):

Every morning we would exercise by walking/running.  Here are some of the items we saw:

The next week, we moved to the other side of our 2 bedroom villa and we drove up to a 10,000 foot mountain (Haleakala Natl park) that looks like you're on the moon:

Every day we swam in our lovely pools and in the gorgeous ocean:

We also ate at some amazing restaurants and a shave ice place near our hotel:

All in all, it was a relaxing time in paradise!  We hope you all will come with us at some point in the future.

What a wonderful and relaxing trip! I love all these pictures so much, and they brought back such sweet memories of our time there. We had the best time! I agree that Island Cream Co. is the best ice cream ever, and Fleetwood's and Leilani's are amazing!! I'm glad you could share it with Rob and have such fun adventures. I love you so much!
