Cruise Spring Break 2016
Our Spring Break: A Princess Cruise to Cozumel Mexico, Roatan Honduras, and Lamanai Ruins of Belize
Here we are on the first night enjoying a gourmet meal.
Here we are on the boat. Josh is now taller than Dad, and he ate more food, too.
In Cozumel, we shared a chip with the raccoon who watched us eat.
Josh and Dad went Iguana hunting while Mom stayed at the table. In Cozumel we spoke Spanish with our taxi driver and he recommended we memorize songs in Spanish.
The color of the water was gorgeous. This is the view from our room balcony.
In Roatan, we rode a chairlift over to the beach, which had gorgeous white sand.
Roatan also had hammocks. Mom was actually somewhat graceful getting in and out.
Josh and Dad sighted a shipwreck from our balcony. There were actually about five shipwrecks in the bay at Roatan. Yikes! Two of them are shown below.
The temples of Lamanai in Belize were amazing. We climbed up the steep stairs 108 feet to the top. The view from the top was amazing -- see the river behind us.
This is the jaguar that one of the temples was named for. Lamanai means "submerged crocodile." Josh, Dad, and I each saw a crocodile in the water on the boat ride to Lamanai.
We looked pretty great on formal night. After spending the day on the ship, we almost lost track of the time and were late to dinner. Relaxation!
