Abu Dhabi and Dubai

In February, Larry and Jenny flew in business class on an A-380 to Abu Dhabi. It was an amazing experience!

We toured the beautiful Grand Mosque, the downtown, and the Yas Island of Abu Dhabi.

We went to church on Friday in the ex- patriot district.

We ate lunch in a gold and marble hotel. The coffee had gold in it, but we did not try it. Ha ha!

We ate Lebanese food.

We spent a day in Dubai and we went to the tallest building in the world (2700 feet compared to World Trade Center at 1400). We loved it!

This is the only 7-star hotel in the world. Of course, they gave that rating to themselves because 5-star is supposed to be the highest. Ha ha! They do everything with flourish!

If you have an emergency, you must be treated by the proper gender.

The highest building, the Burj Khalifa, sticks out above everything else for miles.

The Dubai mall has 1000s of stores and an aquarium inside. The weather is so hot that everyone stays indoors all day.
Our driver was obsessed with these horses. It was very rare to see green lawn. The entire country is desert, sand, and no trees.

What an amazing trip! I feel like every single one of these pictures is surreal; it's a place so different from here. Incredible!
