Tornado

Last Thursday, we had a huge rainstorm at about 1:15 and the power went out. It turned out to be a tornado! On Friday the next day, we had no power at the junior high or Indian Paintbrush, but the high school still had power so Paul had to go to school. A few people never lost power at their house. We didn't get power back until Friday night at about 8:00. We were freezing all day without the heater! We did everything we could to get out of the house to somewhere warm. These are pictures of the tornado. It came really close to the junior high. It ripped down half the fence and tore apart the storage shed. At the Quadra Dangle (a square dancing place) the roof was completely torn off. There were many trees, especially on the golf course, that were ripped to shreds. It did a lot of damage!
