Bear Lake and Evelyn's baby blessing

Last Sunday morning, Mom, Josh, Bob, and I drove down to Utah to see Evelyn (my niece) get blessed.

Maria and her family and my dad and Laura also joined us there. Afterwards, we went to Carolyn and Kip's house to eat delicious taco soup. Then Dad, Laura, Bob, Carolyn, Kip, Lainey, Evelyn, Maria, Will, Rosie, Josh, and I headed down to Bear Lake and everyone but Carolyn and her family stayed in a condo. Kip and Carolyn and their kids stayed in a hotel room at Ideal Beach Resort because we went to that beach almost every day. The next day, we rented jet skis at Ideal Beach and we swam in the hotel pools.

We ate at a burger place for lunch that has famous raspberry shakes. For dinner, we ate at a pizza place that sold 28 inch pizzas that were named "Old Ephraim." Unfortunately, I threw up in the parking lot. :(

The next day, we did pretty much the same thing, but Clark came up to go sailing with Kip. They borrowed a sail boat from a guy and Clark said it was "a life-changing experience."

That night, Maria and her family left and we went to Pickleville Playhouse. There, we ate a barbecue dinner and saw a hilarious play called "The Hanging of El Bandito." It was a really neat experience!

On Wednesday, we rented a motor boat, an inner tube, and a knee board. It was really fun. In the afternoon, we rented jet skis again. Laura left that night. On Thursday, we checked out at 10 and then we drove to our dad's Aunt Renee's house, Keech Cottage. It has a lot of our history with it, so we got a tour and everything. There was an awesome tire swing too.

It was a lot of fun. Then, we drove up to Minnetonka Cave to get a tour but they were all sold out except for the 2:30 tour, so we decided that would be too late and we drove home to Laramie.

We got home at about 9:00 p.m. It was a fantastic trip! By the way, Carolyn, I borrowed a few of the pictures you sent, so thanks! :)
