Grand Teton Natl Park and Yellowstone NP

Every morning at Dick and Maggie Scarlett's house, we would find elk in their neighborhood having breakfast.  Many days we would see the whole herd of 40 elk.

Here's Mom in front of the Snake river and the Tetons.

Lovely Mt. Moran behind Jackson Lake.

The Tetons again along with the Cathedral group.

A lovely little gift that we received from a passing trucker north of Dubois.  It actually shattered glass into the car on my lap!

Next we went up to Yellowstone and saw the lovely Canyon there.

We saw at least 4 buffalo on the road in Hayden Valley--it was so cool!

My favorite hot springs pool--Sapphire pool

Old faithful was predicted to go off at 1:36pm (+/- 10 minutes) and this one went off at exactly 1:36pm! pretty amazing predictability.

Boiling mud pots

Mom and another cool colored pool

The beautiful terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs

A gorgeous sunset on Lake Yellowstone

These pictures are stunningly beautiful! I bet it was amazing to wake up and see a herd of elk every morning! :) I'm sorry to hear about the glass landing on your lap -- how scary! I'm glad you're okay. It looks like an amazing trip except for that!
