More Christmas adventures
Yesterday, we drove down to Denver, Colorado to eat at P. F. Chang's. We had certificates for free lettuce wraps, so we decided to use them. P. F. Chang's is a fantastic Chinese food restaurant. The lettuce wraps are a mixture of chicken and other stuff wrapped in a cold piece of lettuce. They are delicious!! And, for dessert, they have an enormous chocolate cake called "The Great Wall." It is a wonderful restaurant. After that, we went to an Avalanche hockey game at 7:30. It was so cool! The hockey players slammed each other into walls and got into fights. During the game, two people came up to us and said that if we held up some stuffed bears on the big screen in front of everyone during a time-out, we could keep the little bears. They gave one to all of us kids, including Lainey, and we were shown on the screen! The camera zoomed in on Lainey, so Carolyn (who was holding her) made her dance around and stuff. It was adorable! For Christmas, Kip and Carolyn got Disney Scene It for a present, and we played it. Josh was laying on the ground holding an Xbox controller, and Lainey laid down next to him, also holding a controller!! It was so cute. This is Josh and Lainey together:
